It's Up to You!!

One song can spark a moment,
One flower can wake the dream.
One tree can start a forest,
One bird can herald spring.

One smile begins a friendship,
One handclasp lifts a soul.
One star can guide a ship at sea,
One word can frame the goal.

One vote can change a nation,
One sunbeam lights a room,
One candle wipes out darkness
One laugh will conquer gloom.

One step must start each journey,
One word must start each prayer.
One hope will raise our spirits,
One touch can show you care.

One voice can speak with wisdom,
One heart can know what’s true,
One life can make the difference,

When I'm with my friends, and one of them asks something I don't know how to answer without embarrassing myself or when we go around in a circle answering something, I get sooo freaked out. I'm serious. I know it sounds really weird, but what if I say something wrong and they all laugh? But when it comes around to me, I've been rolling the answer around in my head for so long I just say it and it's time for the next person to answer. Then I'm like, "Phooey!! That was easy!! Why did I get so worried?"

It just takes one step of courage to overcome something. It's up to you to do that and face your fears. I get so embarrassed when everybody is looking at me expectantly and I blurt out the wrong thing. Ever known the feeling? It's up to you to take a stand and overcome your obstacles.
