26 January 2015

So this weekend, it snowed like crazy.  I'm talking 6-8 inches here, which might not be a lot for some, but was definitely a lot for me.  It literally snowed all Friday night, and then Sunday evening it started  up again. And while winter is probably not one of my favorite seasons, snow is absolutely beautiful.  Definitely the most beautiful type of precipitation anyways.  I went sledding for a little on Saturday, and while I don't often get the chance to do that a lot, it was fun.  Are you guys getting a lot of snow?

So after the snow stopped for a little, I went outside to take some pictures, because after all, what's a snowfall without some pictures?

Isn't snow such a lovely form of water? It's so fluffy and white and just so clean. It's beautiful.

keep smiling

    1. Thank you :) Yeah, it was pretty fluffy. You couldn't really do much with it... it was pretty good I guess.. I was really sore from yesterday though because I had tried to like "workout" with my friend, and, uh, let's just say I wasn't in perfect form. ;) Yesterday we canceled though because of the snow, so that was pretty good. You? :)

    2. Oh dear! I know what you mean..I went sledding with my siblings yesterday..and woke up feeling like I had a bruised arm. Oh dear, we are getting old. ;) I think I should start doing some more exercises... :D I'm doing good! Busy with school..but I LOVE learning! I am going to spend my morning tomorrow in the library..which is awesome. ;) Then get home, do some heavy reading, at that will count as my school day. No..I'm joking. I'll really have to do all my schoolwork when I get home. But, that's alright! :D How much snow do you have now?

Hehe, you're probably in better condition than me :) THAT WOULD BE AMAZING, like really that is my dream come to life. really. being in a library.... *sighs in bliss* WAIT YOU WERE JOKING? I really thought you were serious there for a bit... lol XD no but I actually did :) But yes that is alright I guess. Well some of it melted, but I'm not completely sure.... sledding is so fun though :)

    4. haha.... I know! I don't know about that! I made some awesome lemon bars today..and they are just calling my name. I don't think I have enough self control to ignore them! Anyway...haha.. Do you NEVER get to go to the library?! Oh my gosh! I go either once a week, or biweekly! Well, I was serious, but I don't know what my Mom would have to say about that. XD Oh, okay! Did you go sledding? Right now we are getting some wintery mix..which includes ice. So glad I got close to 20 books today! ;) Talk with you later, Autumn!

    5. Mmm, lemon bars sound deliciousss right now... mmm... do you like baking? I do, except half the time my stuff turns out burnt or something equally horrible :-) I probably wouldn't either, no worries ;) Yeah, I do go to the library, just not as often as I would like to. Did you ever read To Kill a Mockingbird? My friend is reading for a school project, and it looked kinda interesting. Yeah, I went sledding by myself for like 10 minutes on Saturday, lol.. but I would love to do with some friends sometime... I don't really do a lot of winter activities, but I would really really want to. Did you ever snowboard?
      ttyl!

    6. um..they WERE really good. ;) I still have a few more if you'd like one. :D Oh yes! I especially love trying to make complicated things.. I guess you could call it prideful, but I take joy out of completing something hard. :D Oh, I am sure you are much better than you give yourself credit for. :) Actually, I just checked out that book! Wow..I guess I should read it. ;) I thought it looked interesting too, so I grabbed it with the intentions of asking my Mom about it. :) I sometimes wonder if you are always looking over my shoulder by the way you know things about it. ;) JK! :D I have not actually officially snowboarded..but I have stood on sleds and gone down hills. That actually might be a bit more dangerous...but I WAS JUST saying that I wanted to snowboard...then I had a dream about it. Are you SURE you don't have a secret web cam hidden in my room? lol! I gotta go make some pumpkin chocolate swirl bread for breakfast. :D

    7. Yay!!! I'd always take one ;-) Hehe, perhaps.... but making hard things and them turning out good is such a good feeling :) I ASSURE YOU I'M NOT DOING ANYTHING!!! No really though, I was just wondering :D I want to check it out sometime.... Hmm, that's a really good idea! Maybe I should try that, but yeah, it would probably be dangerous too. lol, no web cams! Mmm, yummy!
