Interview: O @ Life as a Young Lady

04 April 2015

Hey guys =) So recently I had the honor of doing an interview with O from Life as a Young Lady (If you haven't already checked out her blog, what are you doing? You HAVE to check her out =P ) She also did an interview with me on her blog, if you wanted to check that out when she posts it.  I personally loved all her answers, so without further ado, here is O's (fabulous) interview!

1. What's your name, or blogger name?
O Williams is my blogger name, but I refer to myself as Olivia a lot on my blog so everyone's probably put the pieces together by now :P

2. What kinds of books do you like best? (genre)
I mostly like futuristic dystopian (makes me sound weird, I know >_<) but that genre just seems interesting to me; I like reading people's theories on what's going to happen in the future.

3. What types of blogs do you like best? (writing, artistic, random)
I really like all kinds of blogs--writing, reading, DIY, etc.--but I guess my favorite would be called lifestyle (I think?) because I like reading about people's lives and stuff.

4. What is your favorite food?
EVERYTHING. LITERALLY EVERYTHING. (except for sweet potatoes, carrots, watermelon, and probably a couple of other things that I can't really stomach)

5.  Favorite blog(s)?
I got asked this before and it was soooo hard because all of the blogs I follow are fantastic (of course they are, why else would be following them? :P), but I guess if I had to pick: Random Rants by RcubedNote + RainSelf Known, and Lynde Avenue

6. If you could possibly change your name, what would you change it to?
I...have no clue. To be honest, the name Olivia fits me really well. I can't even imagine having another name but this one.

7. What is/was your least favorite subject in school?
SCIENCEEE UGGHHH right now I'm taking Physical Science and I just wanna scream every time I crack open that textbook. Like what is up with all these equations to memorize? All this math I have to do in science class? Like seriously? Yeah I can't stand science. I'm also taking Early American History this year and it's boring me to tears.

8. Why did you start a blog?
I actually started my blog because it was a school assignment: in eighth grade I had a computer class assignment to start a blog, and so I did! (It actually took me one Wordpress blog and another Blogger blog to get where I am today--which is still the bottom :P)

9. What do you like best about blogging?
Ummm I think I would say I like interacting with my followers; I love when they comment responses to my post and I can tell they read it and stuff...I just like sharing myself with other people and them actually being interested in what I have to say. Because it's hard for me to experience that in real life.

10. If you could go to any country in the world, where would you go?
Canada. It's really cold there but they mostly speak the closest English to ours and I've been there before several times so I'd be [sort of but not really] used to it.

11. What's your most favorite animal?
Not really an animal person...I kind of have a major fear of all animals/bugs/etc....

12. What's your favorite midnight snack?
I rarely ever get to have midnight snacks but when I do it's usually like chips or something lame like that haha

13. Who is the first person you call when you have a bad day?
This is really unhealthy, but when I have a bad day I usually just bottle it up. And when I'm having a really bad day that I just can't handle, I pray about it.

14. Would you rather play basketball or hockey?
Hmm...too short, scrawny, and slow for basketball...too scared of being hurt for hockey...I guess I'd go with...neither? :P

15.  Favorite Sundae topping?
Never really eat sundaes...my family is vegan, I'm allergic to soy, and the kind of sundaes I can have (which I rarely ever find) don't really taste that good...

*claps* Thank you so much for letting me do this, O :) It was so much fun! If you haven't already, go check her blog out here :)

And I wish everyone a happy Easter. It is on this weekend we take the time to remember that Christ died for us (I mean, really, we do all the time, but especially on Easter/Good Friday) and how much He loves us. This time of the year is so special and we have so much to be grateful for.  Have a wonderful weekend  ♥

    1. Hahah, don't be nervous, tbh I think science is hard for me mostly because I'm just not interested in it. I bet you'll be fine :)

  2. Science is okay for me... it's my hardest subject (math is a close second) but I don't mind it. I had absolutely no idea you were allergic to soy, Olivia! I want to become vegetarian some day but my family loves meat, so for now I have to deal with it. I'll go read the interview with you right now, Autumn!

    xoxo Morning

    1. Yep, allergic since birth. I had testing a couple years ago and they say I tested negative, but I tried consuming soy afterwards and it was not good (blah blah blah birthday party blah blah blah bread blah blah blah throat started closing up and had to get medicine like immediately) Haha yeah a lot of people say converting from meat to no-meat is hard, but I was raised vegan so I wouldn't really know. I do sometimes smell chicken from Church's Chicken tho...omg...okay I have to stop :P

    You don't like watermelon?? :o
Wow, it must be really hard to be vegan and allergic to soy?

    1. Yeah I don't really like it, I mean it's not really that appealing to me, and my whole family always freaks out whenever I say that haha. Yeah being vegan and allergic to soy can be a challenge (especially since I'm also a picky eater) but I've learned to live with it. Besides, I'm not so bad off: I've got some friends who're allergic to gluten and they can barely eat anything like seriously it's insane--and they're not even vegan.
