Summer '17 Bucket List (-ish) | Summer Ideas!!

OKAY so here's the deal...I was thinking of what I was going to post this week, and the thought came to mind that YES summer is practically here in full swing and if I had wanted to set a bucket list for this summer I probably should have done that last month :)) BUT nevertheless I thought it would be fun to compile... you know like a list of ideas of fun stuff to do in the summer and see what all I could cross off.  Because why not, right? xD So basically this post is a list of things to do in the summer and stuff I want to do this summer? tbh I honestly did already do some "summer" things already (it's almost the end of June like wut), but still.  HENCE THIS POST.

If you've been around long enough you probably remember that I've done a post similar to this for the last two years (oh my goodness that's a long time wooow), so I guess it's kind of like tradition now? Eh...BUT I went back and looked over the list I had last year, you know, just because I'm writing this post now and WOW.  My goal last year was to have a perfect garden, y'all. :P Like that...ever...happens.  *cough* And also to be fair with my last-year-self, macarons are hard to make and you definitely don't have time to make them :))

SO THERE YA GO.  That's literally 50 ideas for when if you get bored this summer :P I'll probably refer back to this once and awhile to see if there's anything I feel like doing (because I already did do a 1/4 of these probably), but it was fun just trying to come up with a whole bunch of "summer" themed activities, y'know?  What do you all like to do in the summer? Are you pretty busy? It seems like so many of my friends have jobs and stuff now, so they don't always have a lot of free time in the summer.  BUT GUYS.  It's worth it to make time every now and then for the little things :) They're important.  What are some more things I should add to this list? (Because I know I didn't get everything xD)

  3. Thanks Autumn, I'll keep this summer list in mind when winter is over (sigh Australia). Wow, I literally incorporated three seasons into that sentence. I think my absolute favourite would have to be playing tennis with my friends and the ice rink, because I love, love doing those things. <3 Some solid ideas you have there!

    1. Haha, thanks! I'm glad someone noticed that. In my opinion, they're both really important.

Well, I don't really have a TBR list. I really just read whatever looks good and/or whatever I'm interested in at present. Honestly I haven't been reading a ton lately, so I couldn't say! Do you have any recommendations?

    2. Have you read "Like Moonlight at Low Tide" by Nicole Quigley? She does such a good job about discussing serious topics while still showing God's light.

For non-fiction, I absolutely loved "God's Smuggler!" It was so weird, because I usually read fiction, but I fell in love with this book.

  8. This is so cool! I love the list Autumn! <3 A lot of those things are currently on my summer bucket list :) Except I kind of do a reverse bucket list where I try to do as much as I can and then I write it down. :)

  15. I should take these summer-y ideas, and see how many I can do this winter. (Yes, I know what you're talking about Jo - Australia isn't giving summer vibes at present.)

Anyway, all the best for your summer, and I hope you do a follow up post and share your adventures and all the meaningful little things! :)

Oooh thank you so much, Jessica <3 Your comments are always so thoughtful. I hope your winter goes splendidly and even though it's not summer you have a wonderful winter!

  16. ...What is a perfect garden? :P That's something I'd like to see.

This list sounds so fun! Unfortunately, I work a lot, but I so need to purposefully do some of these little things to remember why life is so special.

    1. AGREED 100 PERCENTO. I honestly don't think anyone (except some superhuman people) can maintain a perfect, flawless, weed-free flowerbed and/or garden. IT'S TOO MUCH.

Ah, yes, that is a problem :) But I'm sure you'll have a wonderful summer regardless, Meaghan! (By the way, I love how your name is spelled!)
